Automation Tester + GCP

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber.
* Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
* Perform API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
* Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, and integration workflows.
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
* Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and application issues.
* Create, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
* Use Git and Jenkins for source control, build management, and automated test execution.
* Perform data validation using SQL queries.
* Test cloud-based applications and services deployed on GCP.
* Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, GKE, or similar services.
* Support testing of microservices-based applications and distributed systems.
* Troubleshoot test failures and application issues and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
* Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.
