Job description:

The Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts. The role requires a deep understanding of API testing, database testing, and functional testing within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with test management using Azure DevOps and be proficient in Python and Robot Framework. Additional experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience as an Agile Automation Functional Tester
• Extensive experience in API testing and validation
• Proven expertise in database testing using SQL Server
• Strong hands-on experience working in Agile environments

Required Skills:

• Automation using Robot Framework
• Proficiency in Python
• Functional Testing
• Microsoft Azure and Cosmos DB
• Test Management using Azure DevOps (ADO)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kubernetes, Dockers, and Containers
• Red Hat OpenShift
• Point of Testing experience

Role and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts
• Review application code to ensure testability and long-term maintainability
• Analyze, debug, and identify root causes of issues across test and production environments
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
