Job Title: Automation Validation Engineer
Location: Arizona,NY
Job Summary:
The Automation Validation Engineer will be responsible for validating automation systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards within a medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate automation systems (MES, SCADA, PLC, HMI)
- Develop and execute validation protocols, test scripts, and reports
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GAMP standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
- Maintain accurate validation documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of automation validation experience (medical device preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MES, SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems
- Experience with validation protocols and regulatory standards (FDA, GAMP)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 11
- Background in medical device manufacturing and quality systems
