Night Shift: Monday - Thursday | 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Pay: $60,000 - $64,000 annually

Crown Staffing is hiring a skilled Automations & Controls Technician to support production systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will focus on PLC programming, automation troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot ladder logic and automation-related issues
• Maintain and repair automation and control systems
• Improve systems for monitoring production and packaging equipment
• Program and support data collection systems
• Assist maintenance teams with electrical and automation troubleshooting
• Design and build control panels for conveyors and machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance on automation equipment
• Create and maintain electrical drawings and documentation
• Manage PLC programs and maintain accurate backups
• Track project timelines, budgets, and progress
• Support continuous improvement and engineering initiatives

• Associate's degree in Electronics or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PLC programming and control systems
• Strong knowledge of ladder logic and PLC interfacing
• Experience with sensors, servos, and automation components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to support maintenance and project needs
