Automotive A/C Technician
Automation Personnel Services is now hiring an experienced Automotive A/C Technician for a well-established, veteran-owned automotive repair shop located in Smyrna, GA. If you’re an A-Level or Strong B-Level technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing A/C, heating and electrical systems, we’d love to hear from you.
Pay Rate
Competitive base salary
Excellent commission potential during the spring and summer seasons
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Automotive A/C TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive A/C, heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues.
- Remove and reinstall dashboards and interior components on various make and models.
- Communicate repair recommendations with the Service Writer and management team.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Automotive A/C Technician QualificationsandRequirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive A/C, heating, cooling
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Strong automotive electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Strong working knowledge of diagnostic tools.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including basic computing skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently, as a self-starter and to collaborate and work with other team members.
- Must have your own professional-grade tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
