Job Summary:This role focuses on the end-to-end design, development, and launch of innovative vehicle accessories for luxury interiors. The engineer will take ownership of programs from initial concept through production, impacting the customer experience. Collaboration with various internal teams and external suppliers is crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer automotive interior accessory components.
- Develop comprehensive CAD models, drawings, and validation documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage supplier relationships.
- Support product testing, validation, and production launch activities.
- Drive issue resolution and cost optimization for accessory development.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in automotive interior systems development.
- Demonstrated full product lifecycle ownership.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 or equivalent CAD software. This position requires experience in the automotive industry, specifically in the development of interior components and systems for premium or luxury vehicles.
