Experienced Automotive Dealership Accounting Professional Wanted

A high-end automotive dealership in the Huntersville – Mooresville, NC area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its accounting team. Automotive dealership accounting experience is required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who understands the fast-paced dealership environment and is looking for a stable and long-term career with a professional team.

What You'll Do:

• Process and maintain auto dealership Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions
• Review invoices, statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy
• Post payments, receipts, and other financial transactions
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end accounting procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
• Ensure accounting documents are processed accurately and on time
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal dealership departments
• Research account balances and help resolve discrepancies
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and dealership information
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous automotive dealership A/P and A/R experience is required
• Strong understanding of automotive dealership accounting processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership/accounting software
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
