Automotive Customer Service Representative - $16-$22/hr - No Weekends

Location: York, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM; weekends closed
Pay Rate: $16-$22 per hour (Depending on Experience / Skill Set)

We are seeking an Automotive Customer Service Representative in York, PA to support customers and the front-office team at a well-established independent automotive repair shop. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal and clerical skills who enjoys working directly with people. The shop offers a family-oriented, customer-first environment built around integrity, trust, and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with service-related questions.
• Schedule customer appointments and support daily front-office workflow.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Follow up with customers and provide updates throughout the service process.
• Process customer payments and assist with general front-office responsibilities.
• Listen to customer needs and help maintain clear communication between customers and the service team.
• Support a consultative customer experience focused on helping customers understand and plan for vehicle service needs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and in person.
• Clerical and general front-office skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and other members of the shop team.
• Previous automotive repair shop experience is valuable for candidates who will assist with repair orders, estimates, parts, or recommended repairs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay of $16-$22, based on job-related experience and demonstrated skills.
