As an Automotive Dealer Trade Driver, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of vehicles between our dealership locations and partner dealerships. You connect our inventory with our customers, directly supporting sales operations and maintaining seamless vehicle flow. This position requires a commitment to safety, precision, and exceptional service as you transport valuable assets and represent our brand on the road.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates various types of vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Performs thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
• Plans and executes efficient routes, utilizing route optimization strategies to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
• Manages time effectively to ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries, meeting scheduled deadlines.
• Provides excellent customer service through professional and courteous interactions with dealership staff at all locations.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with dispatch and dealership personnel regarding vehicle status, delays, or unexpected issues.
• Maintains a high level of attention to detail when verifying vehicle information, keys, and accompanying documents.
• Completes all necessary documentation accurately and thoroughly for each vehicle transfer, including mileage, condition reports, and delivery receipts.
• Upholds safe driving practices at all times, prioritizing the safety of the vehicle, its contents, and other road users.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous experience in a driving or delivery role.

Knowledge/Skills

• Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates strong adherence to safe driving practices.
• Performs accurate vehicle inspection procedures.
• Applies effective route optimization techniques.
