The focus of this job is producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. Automotive Detail Porter Qualifications- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outgoing and self-motivated personality
- Exhibit a “can-do” attitude
Primary Responsibilities- Organize, rearrange and replenish inventory as needed
- Have a complete stock of cleaning supplies accessible daily
- Keep the shop clean and presentable at all times
- Mopping, sweeping, emptying trash, and other tasks when requested
- Putting fuel in vehicles and assisting with other duties as needed.
- Assist technicians, other co-workers, and various departments when necessary
- Run various errands
- Keep entry-ways presentable and clear of debris and snow
- Inspect vehicles as needed
- Delivering/picking up vehicles from other lots for detail work, website photos, or transportation
- Transporting people to other off-lot storage facilities to retrieve vehicles for Detail Center
Automotive Detail Porter Requirements- Ability to work Monday – Thursday 9a-6p and alternating Friday and Saturday 9a-7p OR Monday – Thursday 12p-9p and alternating Friday and Saturday 9a-7p
- Must demonstrate proficient driving abilities with a minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks (bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, walking, and standing for prolonged periods. Driving vehicles, and willing to work in all types of weather)
- Consent to a background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 4 points and no history of reckless driving
