Compensation: Up to $45/hr + performance incentives
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday (No weekends)

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with a high-performing independent repair facility in the Garfield Heights, OH area that is looking to add a true diagnostic technician to their team. This is a shop that values skill, efficiency, and professionalism — and backs it up with consistent workflow, strong leadership, and the right environment to succeed.
This is not an entry-level role. This is for a technician who can own the problem, find the answer, and fix it right the first time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues
Perform advanced troubleshooting using modern scan tools and equipment
Execute high-level repairs across a wide range of makes and models
Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
Maintain accurate documentation and inspection notes
Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
What We’re Looking For
️ 5+ years of hands-on automotive experience
️ Strong diagnostic skillset (electrical, drivability, CAN systems, etc.)
️ Ability to work independently without constant oversight
️ High level of accountability and pride in workmanship
️ Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
️ Valid driver’s license
️ ASE certifications are a plus (not required)
