O’Daniel Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Diesel Technician to join our service team. In this role, you’ll perform maintenance and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced, supportive dealership environment. We are looking for a technician who is driven, reliable, and eager to continue developing their skills through ongoing training and certifications.

Perform technical service, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
Review job orders, diagnose issues, and determine appropriate repair procedures
Follow checklists to ensure all critical components are inspected
Inspect and adjust protective guards, bolts, and safety devices
Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation
Tag and return all warranty parts according to dealership policy
Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins
Build strong, positive relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction
Accurately complete repair orders and follow safety and procedural guidelines
Maintain an organized, clean workspace
Ensure customer vehicles are returned in clean condition
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy with guests and colleagues
Strive to meet productivity goals set by management
Follow manufacturer policies regarding labor operations, documentation, and warranty repairs
Perform additional duties as assigned by Service Management
Diesel Certifications
Previous Ford dealership experience highly preferred
Minimum of 1 year Fleet or Dealership repair experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
ASE Certification preferred
CDL Certification preferred
Strong work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction
Self-motivated, professional, and a strong team player
Must supply your own tools
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
