Subaru of Jacksonville is seeking motivated Express Lube / Quick Lube Technicians to join our growing service team. We operate a high-volume, fast-paced dealership with a reputation for exceptional customer service and high-quality repair work. This position focuses on basic maintenance and routine services, including oil changes, fluid checks, and multi-point inspections. Perfect for entry-level technicians looking to grow their skills and advance within a dealership environment.

 

 

 

Compensation

 

 

  • Starting at $15 per hour

  • Opportunity for skill-based pay increases

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and other light maintenance services

  • Inspect belts, hoses, filters, tires, and other key components

  • Test and confirm proper operation of vehicle systems

  • Repair or replace worn parts before failure

  • Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to shop standards

  • Use power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment

  • Follow all safety, manufacturer, and dealership procedures

  • Participate in ongoing on-the-job and Subaru brand training

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

 

  • Ability to quickly identify issues during inspections

  • General knowledge of vehicles and mechanical systems

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to learn new technology, maintenance procedures, and OEM specs

  • Comfortable using electronic diagnostic equipment

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred

  • Experience preferred but not required

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality work

  • Positive, professional attitude

  • Must pass a drug test and background check
