Who We Are

Shawnee Mission Ford serves retail, commercial, and public-sector vehicle customers from our dealership in Shawnee, Kansas. Our fleet operation supplies new Ford fleet vehicles, including specialized police vehicles, giving our sales team a strong platform for building commercial relationships.

About the Role

As our Automotive Fleet Sales Associate, you will help businesses select Ford vehicles that meet their operational and financial needs. You will develop commercial accounts, manage sales opportunities, and build customer relationships that can generate repeat business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prospect for local businesses and develop new commercial and fleet accounts
• Ask focused questions to understand each customer’s vehicle usage, quantity, budget, and operational needs
• Explain Ford vehicle performance, applications, benefits, and available equipment
• Recommend appropriate vehicle options and offer test drives when applicable
• Prepare and follow up on quotes while keeping customers informed throughout the sales process
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects and existing business customers
• Meet the vehicle-sales goals and objectives established by the sales manager
• Review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales activity to improve performance and time management

What We’re Looking For

• Automotive sales experience is preferred
• B2B, commercial, or fleet sales experience is a plus
• Strong customer service, negotiation, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to prospect, follow up, and build lasting customer relationships
• Goal-focused and enthusiastic approach to sales
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Bilingual skills are a plus
