Midas local franchisee owner located in Simi Valley, CA. We are agile, customer-centric, and professional. We are currently looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Mechanic. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, including engine, tires, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and repair vehicles in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills, and is able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Test and adjust components to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and roadworthiness.
- Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles using specialized equipment.
- Advise customers on repair and maintenance options.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
Automotive Service Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 1+ years of automotive repair experience
- ASE certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Mechanical skills
- Customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time
PAY: Performance Base
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Saturday
- Weekends as needed
