Description

NPW is seeking a highly organized, driven, and experienced Operations Manager to join our team.By fostering effective communication and collaboration with these key departments, the Operations Manager contributes to the overall success of warehouse operations and organizational objectives. Who is NPW? NPW is a leading independent automotive aftermarket parts distributor. The Company has over 500 employees, 50 company owner locations in 14 states that include both stores and warehouses. NPW was founded in 1969 and has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors. Responsibilities:The Operations Manager will also be responsible for accounts payables, account receivables and other office duties. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of current procedures and develop and implement operational policies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Effective communication skills both verbal and written.Entrepreneurial Spirit.Understand sales/financial trends and adjust operations accordinglyEstablish benchmarks for location.Implement policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their goals.Motivate and lead a team.Oversee and support the local teamMaintain professional and technical knowledge.Respond to customer complaints and comments in a professional manner.Minimum of 5 years management experience in a high-volume distribution facility.Automotive aftermarket experience in a distribution facility is preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.Must be proficient knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.Punctuality and consistent attendance a MUST! Physical Requirements:Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Regularly lift up to 20lbs.Ability to sit, stand and/or walk the duration of the shiftBend, reach, lift, and climb ladders/stepsMust be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present. Team Benefits: Paid Time OffEmployee Purchase ProgramHealth Benefits401KOpportunities for career advancements If you're looking for an exciting career opportunity with room to advance, then NPW is the company for you!We are a drug free workplace.NPW is proud to be an E-Verify employer.
