Position Overview- Job Title: Automotive Interior Parts Development Engineer- Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent- Work Location: Ciudad Juárez, Mexico (near the El Paso, Texas border) or Georgia/Alabama region, USA
Responsibilities - Analyze customer (OEM/Tier 1) requirements and develop corresponding interior part designs- Interpret technical drawings and specifications; prepare BOMs- Coordinate prototype development and work closely with tooling/injection/machining processes- Review development schedule and quality prior to mass production- Communicate with customers and manage technical discussions- Identify and implement solutions to address development issues
Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive interior parts development- Experience in customer communication and leading development projects- Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings (Experience with CATIA, NX is a plus)- Experience with quality documents (APQP, PPAP, etc.) is a plus- Willingness to work overseas and ability to communicate in English preferred
