Automotive Inventory Accounting Specialist

The Inventory Accounting Specialist is responsible for posting all inventory transactions to the general ledger. This includes new manufacturer, used auction, dealer trades and other used vehicle purchases.

Duties/Responsibilities

Reviews documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvalEnsures all inventory is posted to the general ledger timely, accurately and within company guidelinesEnsures all auction sales are posted to the general ledger timely and within company guidelinesEnsures compliance with all audit key controlsReviews exception reports daily and ensure all correcting entries are postedPerforms other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization

Education & Experience

An understanding of General Accounting PrincipalsA general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience in automotive accountingA good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
