Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia electric vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
  

• Perform advanced diagnostics on EV systems, battery systems, electrical components, charging systems, and drivability concerns
  

• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
  

• Utilize Kia factory diagnostic tools and follow OEM repair procedures
  

• Perform multi-point inspections and recommend additional maintenance when appropriate
  

• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
  

• Communicate repair recommendations and timelines with Service Advisors
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  

• Follow all Kia and dealership safety procedures
  

Qualifications

• Kia EV Certification REQUIRED
  

• Previous Kia dealership experience strongly preferred
  

• Automotive dealership technician experience required
  

• Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
  

• Experience with EV systems, battery systems, and charging technology
  

• ASE Certifications are a plus
  

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
  

• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
  

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
