Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Lead Technician to oversee daily operations. This role combines hands-on diagnostics and repair work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality service and efficient workflow. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics, drivability assessments and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Skilled in alignment, steering, and suspension diagnosis/repair
Strong diagnostic skills for engines and electrical systems.
Lead, supervise, and mentor junior technicians to maintain consistent quality and productivity
Inspect vehicles for quality control prior to delivery
Collaborate with management to improve shop efficiency
Requirements:
ASE Certifications preferred
5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
Proficient in diagnostics, drivability, and electrical system
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and safety protocols
