Automotive Line Technician

We are looking for an Automotive Line Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and be ASE/Ford certified. Previous experience is preferred but not required.  The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.

Responsibilities: 

• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Valid driver license

• ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory

• Service Technician experience preferred

• Strong use of technological devices including tablets
