Lot Attendant Description:
The Huffines Lot Attendant is a key contributor to providing a world class buying experience for our guests and an essential part of support services to dealership operations.
Lot Attendant Responsibilities:
- Coordinates daily schedule with sales management to ensure all responsibilities are completed efficiently and effectively
- Assists sales team in the process of readying sold vehicles for delivery
- Keep vehicles for sale neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Monitors and adjusts display vehicle placement to minimize chances of damage
- Verifies, places, and maintains vehicle pricing stickers on all available pre-owned inventory for sale
- Takes pictures of for sale and trade-in vehicles and maintains library to use for internet marketing
- Tests batteries of for sale inventory for operational readiness on a weekly basis
- Periodically walk the lot checking for vehicle damage, maintaining records of damage, and report to management
- Maintains the cleanliness of the lot, sales building, and surrounding grounds as needed
- Transport vehicles to and from other locations and helps with offsite delivery of sold units
- Quality inspect vehicles coming out of detail, ensuring readiness for customer delivery
- Maintain merchandising materials on vehicles and in pre-owned showroom
- Ensures vehicles readiness for demonstration drives
- Enthusiastically greet customers
Lot Attendant Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Capable of standing extended periods of time
- Friendly and customer service focused
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Have basic computer knowledge
- Customer Service experience is preferred
- Professional appearance
