Automotive Lot Washer

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Lot Flow Washer to support our partner dealerships in Hardeeville, South Carolina. 

Job Description: As an Automotive Lot Flow Washer is responsible for keeping dealership inventory clean, presentable, and properly positioned throughout the lot. This role supports the dealership's vehicle flow by washing and moving vehicles between designated areas, staging inventory for sales and service, and maintaining an organized, safe lot.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, able to safely operate vehicles, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. This is a hands-on position where speed, consistency, attention to detail, and safe vehicle handling are critical.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Wash, rinse, dry, and clean vehicles according to dealership standards.
• Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot and designated areas.
• Stage vehicles for sales, customer delivery, service, and other dealership needs.
• Maintain proper vehicle placement and support efficient lot flow.
• Perform basic interior and exterior cleaning to ensure vehicles are sales-ready.
• Inspect vehicles for visible damage, cleanliness issues, or items requiring additional attention and report concerns.
• Safely operate pressure washers, vacuums, hoses, and other cleaning equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe wash area and work environment.
• Follow all dealership and company safety procedures when moving or cleaning vehicles.
• Work efficiently to meet daily vehicle flow and turnaround expectations.
• Communicate vehicle status and workflow needs with dealership and Xcite Automotive team members.
• Assist with additional lot or reconditioning duties as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a safe and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive and maneuver vehicles throughout a dealership lot.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work around vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
• Strong attention to vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and dealership standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership or reconditioning experience.
• Previous vehicle washing, detailing, or lot attendant experience.
• Experience operating a pressure washer, vacuum, or other automotive cleaning equipment.
• Experience driving both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with dealership vehicle inventory and lot operations.
• Previous experience in a valet, porter, fleet, rental-car, or automotive service environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive appearance and cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
