Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving various vehicle issues. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive systems, including electrical systems, powertrains, and mechanical components. The Automotive Mechanic will work on a variety of vehicles, to include small engine equipment, ensuring they are safe and reliable.
Duties- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, suspensions, and alignments
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle problems
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about a vehicle's needs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
Experience- Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic is required
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques across various vehicle types, including Dodge vehicles
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods
- Knowledge of welding techniques for auto body repair is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using both hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of vehicle maintenance
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM
Pay: $25/hr
