Distinguishing Characteristics:
This class differs from that of Automotive Mechanic in that the Automotive Mechanic Helper assists automotive mechanics in repairing and overhauling gasoline and diesel engines and motorized equipment and makes routine mechanical repairs; whereas the Automotive Mechanic performs skilled mechanical work in overhauling and repairing gasoline and diesel engines and equipment.Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
