Location: Virginia Beach, VA

SkyBridge Tactical is a Prime Contractor for MSOFS and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Tampa, FL, founded in 2008 to support our customers’ global security, operational and training needs, focusing on mission success in the most challenging environments. SBT current contracts address U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Department of State (DoS) demand for highly skilled professionals to solve problems in the interest of national security.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Overview

Performs routine maintenance and repair on non-tactical vehicles and related equipment to support fleet readiness and operational timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service tasks and general maintenance and repair on assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Complete fluid and filter changes, brake service, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, tire replacement, and general engine and transmission services
  • Work in a shop environment with minimal supervision from shop supervisors, inspectors, and senior mechanics
  • Record maintenance actions, track labor time, and document parts ordered and installed in Asset Works LLC Fleet Focus
  • Comply with all regulations related to safety, hazardous material handling, and facility access

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) mechanic at an automotive dealership, commercial service shop, military Intermediate or Depot level maintenance facility, or E5-E6 equivalent military experience maintaining Civil Engineering Support Equipment
  • Completion of an automotive service and technology course of instruction program may be considered qualifying experience
  • Ability to use Asset Works LLC Fleet Focus software to record maintenance actions, track time, and document parts ordered and installed
  • Understanding of and ability to follow regulations related to safety, hazardous materials handling, and facility access
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate Government vehicles
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required installation access and security clearance, if required

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certifications
  • Hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance experience
  • Prior NSW, fleet, or DoD maintenance support experience
