Job Summary ------------

Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our high-volume automotive service group is seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least three years of experience and a strong desire to succeed with integrity. You will oversee daily operations of seven locations and assist sales and service managers in setting big but realistic goals. Responsibilities ----------------

• Oversee daily operations
• Remedy customer complaints promptly and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
• Recruit, hire, and train service managers, store managers, and technicians to meet profit levels
• Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sales and brand visibility for the organization
• Conduct manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales
• Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining inventory that meets the needs of the local market
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper management
• Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle service and the automotive industry as a whole

Qualifications --------------

• Bachelors degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is needed
• Three or more years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for a dealership or auto group is necessary
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends
• Possess a state-issued drivers license and acceptable driving record to operate dealership-owned vehicles
• Strong communication skills, a track record of leadership, and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success

• $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
