McCloskey Appearance Center is a fast-growing auto cosmetic repair company based in Colorado Springs. Our business is booming and we’re looking for an experienced Paint & Body Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee the entire operation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to take ownership of a facility that includes Detail, Paint, Body Work, and Assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Detail, Paint, Body, and Assembly departments.
- Prepare and present accurate quotes for paint, body, and cosmetic work.
- Mentor and grow technicians across all departments through coaching and training.
- Recruit, hire, and motivate qualified team members.
- Ensure quality control and timely completion of all work.
- Assist with payroll preparation, invoicing, and final billing (including insurance supplements).
- Maintain strong vendor and insurance relationships to maximize profitability.
- Approve sublet/outside vendor invoices.
- Monitor gross profit opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on completed jobs to ensure customer satisfaction and brand standards.
- Maintain safety standards and a professional work environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of management experience in a Body Shop, Detail Shop, or Automotive Dealership.
- Proven ability to quote and manage repair work.
- Strong knowledge of paint, body, detailing, and assembly processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Clean background check.
