Automotive Painter
Gulfport, MS
An independently owned and operated Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting franchisee is looking for a full-time Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Gulfport, Mississippi!

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 45+ hours/week
- Occasional Saturday may be necessary
The right candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in auto painting preferred
- Ability to work at production shop pace
- Ability to demonstrate concern for quality
- Experience in single stage and base coat/clear coat finishes is preferred
- Dependability and ability to adapt
- I-Car and OE certifications are a plus
- Leadership skills are a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
Our Automotive Painter will:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing to achieve a smooth finish
- Perform auto restoration tasks, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations
- Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and timelines
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in minor repairs or adjustments as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
