Automotive Parts Cashier

Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ is looking for an Automotive Parts Cashier to join its retail parts counter team. This role keeps transactions moving accurately, verifying invoices, collecting payment, pulling will-call orders, and making sure every customer leaves with the right parts and a good impression. Sanderson Ford has served the Phoenix area for over 70 years and consistently earns recognition as Ford's top dealership for customer service. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day with a 60-minute lunch.

What You'll Do

• Verify invoice numbers, dollar amounts, and payment methods before closing invoices or releasing parts
• Greet and thank customers with a professional, welcoming manner at the retail counter
• Locate and pull will-call orders for customers accurately and efficiently
• Balance and count down the cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Keep the cashier station and surrounding parts department area clean and presentable

What We're Looking For

• Prior automotive parts or cashier experience preferred but not required
• Basic math and cash handling skills with an eye for accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple transactions accurately in a customer-facing role
• Professional, customer-first approach to every interaction
• Must pass a background check and drug test — this is a safety-sensitive position
