Automotive Parts Counterperson

Keffer Mazda is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team in Huntersville, NC. In this role, you will assist customers and technicians by efficiently managing the parts counter, ensuring accurate and timely parts ordering, and providing excellent service to support our service department and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with identifying and locating parts
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently using computer systems
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked parts counter
• Inventory management and cycle counts
• Communicate effectively with service department, vendors, and customers
• Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with company policy
• Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly attitude

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive parts or retail counter sales preferred
• Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency with computer systems and point of sale software
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
