Performance Nissan of Pompano is NOW HIRING an Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our busy Parts Department.

We are looking for a dependable, organized and customer-focused individual who can provide outstanding service to our technicians, service department, body shop and retail customers.

Automotive dealership parts experience is strongly preferred. Nissan or other import dealership parts experience is a major plus.

COMPENSATION

$18.00 $28.00 per hour, based on experience, automotive parts knowledge and dealership background.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist retail customers, technicians, service advisors and body shop personnel in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts.

Answer incoming parts department phone calls and provide accurate pricing, availability and ordering information.

Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Pull and fill parts orders accurately and efficiently.

Locate out-of-stock parts through approved outside sources and place emergency or special orders when necessary.

Notify service advisors and customers when special-order parts arrive.

Monitor back-ordered and special-order parts and follow up as necessary.

Review body shop estimates and verify correct parts and pricing.

Make sure all internal parts requests are properly billed to the appropriate repair order.

Process retail parts sales, payments, invoices, credits and returns accurately.

Maintain accurate records of repair orders, invoices, estimates and special-order parts.

Replenish assigned inventory and maintain organized parts storage areas.

Assist with daily shipping, receiving, delivery and pickup orders as needed.

Work closely with technicians, service advisors, body shop personnel and Parts Department management.

Participate in inventory control and lost-sales tracking.

Maintain current knowledge of Nissan products, parts, accessories and product updates.

Maintain a clean, professional and organized front and rear parts-counter area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous automotive dealership parts experience preferred.

Nissan parts experience is a major plus.

Strong automotive parts knowledge preferred.

Ability to use electronic parts catalogs and dealership computer systems.

Excellent customer-service and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to accurately handle pricing, invoices, payments and inventory.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Ability to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, advisors and management.

Basic math and computer skills required.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.

Must be dependable, punctual and professional.

Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
