Automotive Parts Delivery Driver

Hilbish Ford is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure automotive parts are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while providing a professional and positive customer experience at every stop. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success in this position.

  Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Responsibilities:   

• Load and unload parts and supplies from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of items
• Verify the accuracy of orders and invoices before delivery, addressing any discrepancies with the appropriate personnel
• Collect payments for delivered parts as needed, maintaining accurate records of transactions
• Communicate effectively with the parts department and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean driving record and report any accidents, violations, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves, organizing parts, and conducting periodic inventory counts as needed
• Other duties assigned    

Automotive Parts Delivery Driver Requirements:   

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying orders and invoices
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime hours as needed
• Knowledge of automotive parts and components is a plus
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings
