Automotive BDC Representative / Receptionist

About the Role
M&F Auto Sales is seeking a professional, outgoing, and goal-oriented BDC Representative to join our team.
This is a phone-focused position. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, and able to maintain a friendly and professional presence with every customer interaction.
Our BDC department serves as the connection between our customers and sales team. Your primary focus will be contacting leads, following up with customers, setting appointments, and helping drive traffic into the dealership.
Previous automotive BDC experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make consistent outbound calls to new and existing customer leads
- Follow up with customers by phone, text, and email
- Answer incoming calls professionally and assist or direct customers as needed
- Manage and respond to internet leads and customer inquiries
- Set, confirm, and follow up on sales appointments
- Maintain accurate customer notes and activity within the CRM
- Work closely with the sales team to coordinate appointments and customer follow-up
- Re-engage older leads and customers who are still in the market
- Provide a professional, friendly, and confident presence over the phone
- Assist customers who enter the dealership as needed
- Perform basic administrative duties
- Meet individual and department goals for calls, contacts, and appointments
- Support the sales team and BDC department as needed

Requirements
- Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, or sales experience
- Automotive BDC experience preferred
- CRM and lead-management experience is a plus
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize follow-up
- Knowledge of automotive terminology is a plus
