Automotive Sales Associate

Description of the role:

Shively Motors is currently adding Automotive Sales Associates to our team in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.  If you are highly motivated and seeking a future in automotive sales with advancement opportunities, you might be perfect for this position.  As an Automotive Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and promoting sales of our wide range of vehicles.  You will gain knowledge of all the models we sell and deliver high quality guest service that aligns perfectly with our guest needs.  Your pay will be as high as you're motivated to succeed.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and never ending desire to improve.  Both experienced and non-experienced should apply!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Communicate features, advantages, and benefits to our guests.
• Assist guests in selecting the right vehicle that meet their needs and preferences.
• Efficiently organize and compile information for a sale.
• Conduct follow-up activities to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Be coachable and always willing to learn more products and social skills.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to achieve team targets and sales objectives.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus.
• Prior experience in automotive sales or a related field is not required, but welcome.
• Great communication and adaptability.
• Service oriented mindset.
• Desire to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass background check.
