DeKalb Motors is growing, and we are actively hiring motivated Automotive Sales Consultants / Automotive Sales Associates to join our high-performing dealership team in DeKalb, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships and create customers for life
  • Assist customers in selecting the right new or used vehicle based on their needs and budget
  • Deliver professional vehicle presentations and product demonstrations
  • Become knowledgeable on vehicle features, trim levels, packages, financing options, and automotive technology
  • Follow up with customers to generate repeat and referral business
  • Learn and apply proven automotive sales processes and objection-handling techniques
  • Maintain strong communication with sales managers and dealership leadership
  • Achieve monthly sales goals and customer satisfaction targets
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude every day

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required
  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, call centers, or commission sales is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
  • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
