Arlington Heights Ford is looking for motivated, competitive and customer-focused individuals to join our award-winning sales team.Automotive sales experience is NOT required. We will train the right person. If you have automotive sales experience, we'd love to talk to you. But if you've never sold a car before and have the personality, work ethic, competitive drive and desire to succeed, don't let a lack of automotive experience stop you from applying. What You'll Do

As an Automotive Sales Professional, you will:

• Assist customers in selecting the right new or pre-owned vehicle
• Build relationships with customers throughout the buying process
• Demonstrate vehicles and explain features and technology
• Conduct professional vehicle test drives
• Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries and previous customers
• Develop repeat and referral business
• Maintain relationships with customers after the sale
• Learn Ford products, programs and available technologies
• Work closely with our sales and management teams to provide an exceptional customer experience
• Represent Arlington Heights Ford professionally in the dealership and community

Training & Development

We'll teach you the automotive business.

New team members receive hands-on training, coaching and ongoing professional development designed to help them become successful automotive sales professionals.

You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced salespeople and managers who understand what it takes to build long-term customer relationships and a successful career.

Earning Potential: $120,000-$150,000+ annually for successful sales professionals

• Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but it is NOT required. Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, wireless sales, real estate, insurance, customer service or other people-focused industries can also translate extremely well into automotive sales.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
• Must pass pre-employment background check/screening
