    About This Job

    This role leads our dynamic sales team, driving performance and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. As an Automotive Sales Manager, you shape our sales strategy, cultivate a high-achieving team, and contribute directly to the dealership's success and reputation. You empower sales professionals, optimize processes, and build lasting relationships with our customers.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Leads the sales team, setting clear performance expectations and sales targets.
    • Hires, trains, and mentors sales associates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achievement.
    • Provides ongoing work direction, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
    • Develops and implements effective sales strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability in Automotive Sales.
    • Manages inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient turnover.
    • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
    • Conducts and oversees Negotiation processes, ensuring fair deals and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensures the highest standards of Customer Service are met, resolving customer concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Designs and delivers Training & Development programs for the sales team, enhancing their product knowledge and sales techniques.
    • Collaborates with other departments to streamline Dealership Operations and improve overall efficiency.
    • Analyzes market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Monitors and reports on sales performance, identifying areas for growth and improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    • Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field a plus

    Experience

    • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in Automotive Sales.
    • Includes at least 2 years of experience in a Sales Management or supervisory role.

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Possesses in-depth knowledge of Automotive Sales principles and practices.
    • Applies proven Sales Management techniques to drive results.
    • Exhibits strong Team Leadership and motivational abilities.
    • Proficiently uses Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and tools.
    • Masters advanced Negotiation and closing skills.
    • Delivers exceptional Customer Service with a customer-first mindset.
    • Develops and implements effective Training & Development initiatives.
    • Understands all aspects of Dealership Operations.
    • Communicates clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Analyzes data and makes informed decisions.
    • Solves problems creatively and efficiently.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Holds relevant industry certifications.
    • Has experience with specific dealership management systems (DMS).
    • Demonstrates a track record of exceeding sales targets consistently.

    Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

    • Works in a fast-paced dealership environment, which includes both office and showroom settings.
    • Requires frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
    • Involves regular use of computers and other office equipment.
    • May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
