Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the new vehicle sales operation.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly OEM objectives, market share goals, inventory turn requirements, and performance standards.
- Forecast monthly and annual vehicle sales, gross profit, and departmental expenses.
- Develop, coach, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on customer satisfaction and sales excellence.
- Manage inventory acquisition, ordering, merchandising, pricing, and aging strategies.
- Oversee wholesale, retail, purchasing, and marketing activities within the sales department.
- Utilize internet sales and inventory management tools including VAuto, E-CarList, and CRM platforms.
- Work effectively with lenders and financial institutions to maximize opportunities and customer approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ensure every customer receives a first-class delivery experience.
- Maintain dealership policies, processes, and accountability standards throughout the sales department.
- Analyze reports, trends, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and increased profitability.

Qualifications
- Proven success as an Automotive Sales Manager, New Car Manager, or Sales Manager in a high-volume dealership environment.
- Demonstrated ability to excel and exceed monthly standards related to OEM turn, sales objectives, inventory management, market share, and profitability.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Exceptional closing and negotiation abilities.
- Experience managing inventory and utilizing digital retailing and inventory management tools.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations, compliance requirements, and financial performance metrics.
