This role is designed for a manager who loves the challenge of the automotive business   someone who believes the phone is the strongest sales tool, appointments are the foundation of success, and accountability drives results.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a proven automotive sales leader with strong closing skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the ability to develop a team of high-performing sales professionals. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, improving processes, increasing appointment show rates, and creating an environment where winning is the expectation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly goals.
  • Create a culture focused on outbound calls, appointment setting, follow-up, and customer engagement.
  • Train and develop sales consultants on prospecting, phone skills, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure consistent follow-up with all opportunities.
  • Work alongside the sales team to maximize showroom traffic and internet opportunities.
  • Desk deals effectively while protecting dealership profitability.
  • Hold team members accountable to daily performance standards and activity goals.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure every customer receives an exceptional dealership experience.
  • Address customer concerns quickly, professionally, and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of automotive Sales Manager experience required.
  • Proven track record of leading a successful sales team.
  • Strong phone skills with the ability to create and close appointments.
  • High-energy, competitive, and motivated personality.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
  • Ability to inspire a team and drive performance.
  • Knowledge of factory programs, incentives, inventory management, and dealership processes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and customer follow-up strategies.
  • Commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction and team development.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
