Vara Chevrolet is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Porter / Lot Attendant to support our Sales Department. This position plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of our vehicle inventory and ensuring our dealership lot remains clean, organized, and ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.
- Park, move, and arrange vehicles on dealership property.
- Ensure vehicles are properly fueled, charged, input all the window sticker and addendum and ready for display or delivery.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pick-ups.
- Keep the sales lot, showroom, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Inspect and check-in new units
- Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
- Assist sales staff with vehicle staging, merchandising, and inventory organization.
- Drive vehicles to buyers as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety policies and dealership procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must pass Background check, Drug test and MPVI.
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous dealership or porter experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate various vehicle types.
