Responsibilities
- Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, warranties, and available accessories
- Conduct test drives and compare competitive models to meet customer needs
- Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers
- Implement follow-up systems to generate repeat and referral business
- Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
- Stay informed on current inventory, product updates, and manufacturer programs
- Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership performance standards
- Maintain a professional, customer-first presence on the showroom floor
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed
Qualifications
- Customer-facing sales experience required (automotive experience is a plus!)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
- High energy with a strong desire to succeed in a commission-based environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence
- Basic computer skills
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through
- Professional appearance and solid work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
