Overview
Mercedes-Benz of Shreveport is seeking driven, customer-focused, and professional individuals to join our team as a New & Used Vehicle Sales Consultant. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury automotive buying experience while assisting customers with both new and pre-owned vehicle purchases.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building relationships, understands the importance of customer satisfaction, and has the motivation to achieve sales goals in a fast-paced dealership environment. Whether you have automotive sales experience or a strong background in retail, hospitality, or customer service, we provide the training and support needed to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in the showroom and on the dealership lot.
- Build rapport with customers to understand their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.
- Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles and other inventory options.
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives.
- Explain vehicle features, benefits, technology, and financing options.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all new and used inventory.
- Follow up with prospective customers through phone, email, text, and CRM tools.
- Generate sales opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting efforts.
- Negotiate and close vehicle sales while ensuring a premium customer experience.
- Meet or exceed established sales, customer satisfaction, and dealership performance goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
- Collaborate with management, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless purchase experience.
- Participate in dealership events, sales training, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience a plus
- Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, customer service, or commission-based sales a plus
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- CRM experience and strong follow-up skills
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury brand environment.
- Ability to learn product knowledge and utilize dealership technology platforms

Compensation: This is a commission-based position. Monthly earnings typically range from $4,000 to $15,000+, based on individual performance, sales volume, experience, and productivity. Top-performing sales consultants may earn above the stated range. Compensation is not guaranteed and is directly tied to sales results
