Automotive Service Advisor (Independent Shop Experience Required)

About the Role
We are a well-established, family-oriented automotive repair shop in Orland Park looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a positive, team-driven environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and provide a professional, friendly experience
- Write accurate estimates and recommend needed services
- Order parts and coordinate with technicians
- Manage repair orders from start to finish
- Communicate clearly with customers via phone, text, and in person
- Prioritize workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of service advisor experience (independent shop preferred)
- Strong ability to write estimates and order parts
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer-service driven mindset
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Comfortable using shop software and computers
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional, positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Compensation
- Base Pay: $1,000 – $1,250 per week
- Commission: 1–2% of sales
- On-Target Earnings: $75,000 – $90,000 annually
