Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a well-established European automotive repair shop in Chicago, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, keeping repairs organized, and helping deliver an exceptional service experience. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately document vehicle concerns and service needs.
• Prepare and present repair estimates while communicating recommended services clearly.
• Order parts and coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide timely customer updates throughout the repair process.
• Submit warranty paperwork accurately and maintain complete repair documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with scheduling and service inquiries.
• Manage multiple repair orders while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting overall shop performance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership environment; European vehicle experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and handling phone communications throughout the day.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on customer requests and repair documentation.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary with total earning potential of $70,000-$90,000 annually.
