Overview
Group 1 Ford of Rockwall is seeking a customer-focused and motivated Service Advisor to join our growing team. As a key link between our customers and service department, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional service experience while ensuring efficiency and profitability within the service lane.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and passionate about customer satisfaction, with the ability to clearly communicate vehicle needs and service recommendations. Ford experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
- Provide clear and detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs
- Prepare repair orders and cost estimates
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service completion
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
- Upsell additional services and maintenance when appropriate
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward resolution
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a service advisor, automotive service, or customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and services
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with computer systems and service software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
