Pay Range:
$60,000 - $150,000 per year (commission pay structure based on job performance) - Top Performers earning $90k plus!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service needs.

  • Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, brake repair, suspension, transmissions, and more

  • Prepare accurate auto estimates using dealership systems and communicate costs clearly to customers.

  • Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.

  • Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity.

  • Process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair status, additional recommendations, and vehicle readiness.

  • Promote dealership services proactively to maximize customer satisfaction and retention through effective sales techniques.

  • Ensure all service documentation complies with company policies and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary components promptly for repairs or maintenance tasks.

  • Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair procedures to provide expert advice.

Pre-Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • College Degree, Vocational/Trade Certificate, High School Diploma, or equivalent.

  • Satisfactory work experience in a competitive environment, sales experience is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiarity with CRM software and/or Dealership Management Systems (DMS) such as Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

  • Ability to upsell products while maintaining honesty and transparency with customers.

  • Ability to process payments accurately and responsibly.

Computer Skills:

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products. Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web-based applications utilized for operations.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Candidates must be able to work Full-Time hours on a consistent basis. Scheduled shifts are typically 5-days per week, rotating weekends included, and holidays (business hours Monday - Saturday).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.

May be exposed to load noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service repair conditions.

Environment Demands:

Duties are generally performed in the service area. Responsibilities may include conducting road tests on customer vehicles. Work includes inspection of customer vehicles and frequent movement around the Service Department to convey information between customers and service technicians. Frequently interacts with customers, service manager and service technicians, and employees from various departments in the dealerships.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
