Route 9 Nissan is looking for a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our service team in Westborough, Massachusetts.

We are looking for someone who knows how to take care of customers, communicate effectively with technicians, manage a busy service drive, and turn customer concerns into clearly written repair orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers professionally and identify their vehicle service and repair needs

• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests

• Schedule service appointments and manage vehicle drop-off and pick-up

• Prepare repair orders and provide accurate service and repair estimates

• Communicate customer concerns clearly to technicians

• Review technician recommendations and explain necessary repairs to customers

• Present maintenance, repair, parts, warranty, and service options

• Obtain customer authorization for recommended repairs

• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process

• Provide updates regarding repair status, additional work, costs, and completion times

• Work closely with technicians and the parts department to keep repairs moving efficiently

• Maintain an organized and productive service-drive workflow

• Review completed repairs and charges with customers

• Process customer payments and finalize repair orders

• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat service business

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction from write-up through vehicle delivery

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

• Automotive dealership or service-advisor experience preferred

• Strong understanding of automotive service, maintenance, and repair

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

• Strong sales and presentation ability

• Ability to explain technical information in a way customers can easily understand

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to handle multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with dealership service software is a plus

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, parts personnel, and management

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
