Prestige Auto Tech is looking for a sales-driven Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to turn vehicle needs into approved work while building long-term customer relationships.

This position is for an experienced advisor who is comfortable selling automotive repairs and maintenance, presenting large estimates, overcoming objections, following up, and closing sales.

This Is a Sales Position

Customer service is important, but we're specifically looking for a Service Advisor who can sell.

You should be comfortable:

• Presenting repair and maintenance recommendations
• Turning Digital Vehicle Inspection findings into approved work
• Explaining why a repair is needed and why it matters
• Building value before discussing price
• Asking for the sale
• Handling price objections professionally
• Offering solutions when customers hesitate
• Following up on declined work
• Prioritizing safety and maintenance recommendations
• Increasing approved work while maintaining customer trust
• Building repeat business and long-term customer relationships

Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor, you will manage the entire customer experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and identify their concerns
• Create and manage repair orders
• Review technician findings and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Prepare accurate estimates
• Present recommendations clearly and professionally
• Sell repairs, maintenance, and recommended services
• Obtain customer authorization
• Follow up on declined recommendations
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Work closely with technicians to maximize productivity
• Manage repair order progress and promised completion times
• Coordinate parts when necessary
• Process payments and vehicle delivery
• Follow up with customers after service

Who We're Looking For

This is not an entry-level position.

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer experience preferred
• Proven automotive sales experience
• Strong closing skills
• Confidence presenting high-dollar repair estimates
• Strong automotive repair and maintenance knowledge
• Excellent phone and face-to-face communication
• Ability to overcome objections professionally
• Strong follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders simultaneously
• Goal-oriented and motivated by performance
• Excellent organization and time management
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Valid driver's license

Tekmetric experience is a plus.

European & Luxury Automotive Experience Preferred
