Service Advisor
Location: Rockville, VA.

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced, independent automotive repair shop. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing the flow of the front office while supporting a team of highly skilled technicians.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer.
- Strong skills in customer service, repair estimating, parts procurement, and repair order dispatching.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers in person and by phone.
- Medium-duty and diesel truck experience preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide accurate solutions to automotive concerns.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage customer communications.
- Write repair orders and prepare accurate estimates.
- Apply sales techniques and maintain professional phone etiquette.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Manage bay flow and coordinate repair order dispatch.
- Assist with daily operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Use email, point-of-sale systems, and customer relationship management software effectively.
